All the Breathing Creatures: A Novel Based on Real Events

In 1985, three Harvard archeology students travel to Peru on a backpacking trip in search of adventure, culture, and historical sites. While exploring unknown Inca ruins on the ancient empire’s far eastern frontier, the friends witness an unspeakable act. Suddenly, their enchanting journey becomes a primal fight for survival.
The three friends must come to terms with their experiences, and each student’s process of recovery and healing becomes intensely personal and continues for decades. It’s a story of exploration, endurance and the cruelty of a lost love.
