Akinropo was born and raised in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He attended Saint Matthew’s Primary School in Agbedeyi, Lagelu Local Government Council, Renascent High School, Aremo Ibadan, and Oyo State College of Arts and Sciences, Ile-Ife. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Education) in English from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ilé-Ife, Nigeria; Master of Arts in English from the University of Lagos, Nigeria; DTE (E) LLS Level 6 Diploma and Language Proficiency: TKT Band 3 from the University of Cambridge, UK. .
He has lectured at the College of Journalism (COJ), Lagos, Nigeria. He worked as a substitute teacher in the UK. He is currently a freelance interpreter / translator and registered with the National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI), UK.
Some of his topical articles have appeared in Nigerian newspapers and magazines. Scars Do Heal is her first published novel and is now on sale on Amazon’s Kindle and Pocket versions.
He lives in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK with his wife Iyabode and they are both blessed with two children.
His hobbies are writing, reading, travel and sports.
