The Arifureta light novel series will end in the next volume

At Ryo Shirakome Arifureta: from the banal to the strongest in the world The light novel series will end with the release of its next volume. The author made the announcement in the author’s comments section of the 12th volume of the light novel series.
The recently concluded Arifureta: from the commonplace to the strongest zero in the world The light novel spin-off series hinted that the main series would soon be coming to an end with the release of its final volume in late December.
Shirakome first published the series as a web novel on the popular user-submitted content site, Shōsetsuka ni Narō. The main series ran for 8 volumes and ended in 2015, with additional side stories released sporadically in subsequent years.
Overlap picked up the series for publication in 2015, releasing the first volume of the light novel in June 2015. The series is published under the Overlap Bunko imprint with artwork by Takayaki. The series’ popularity has inspired a variety of manga and light novels.
A manga adaptation illustrated by RoGa began serialization in Overlap’s Comic Gardo magazine in 2016 and has amassed 9 tankōbon volumes throughout its run so far. A manga spin-off written and illustrated by Misaki Mori, Arifureta: I love Isekaibegan serialization in Comic Gardo in 2017.
the Arifureta: from the commonplace to the strongest zero in the world The spin-off light novel was serialized from 2017 to 2021 under the Overlap Bunko imprint. A manga adaptation illustrated by Ataru Kamichi is currently filming in Comic Gardo, having started serialization in 2018.
A 13-episode anime adaptation by White Fox aired during the Summer 2019 season. The series was written and directed by Kinji Yoshimoto (Unbreakable Machine Doll, I couldn’t become a hero, so I reluctantly decided to get a job) with music by Ryō Takahashi (main princess, SK8 infinity). A second season hosted by Studio Mother and Asread is currently airing. Akira Iwanaga (Corpse Party: Tortured Souls, Kingdom: Season 2) succeeded Yoshimoto as director while Shoichi Sato (angel heart, Tenchi Muyo! GxP) resumes the scenario of the series.
J-Novel Club is releasing the light novels digitally, while Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the light novel physically alongside the manga adaptation and spinoff.
