MASSAGE Magazine Announces New Organization of the Year Award

The designation will honor groups that promote and support massage therapy
JACKSONVILLE, FL, July 14, 2022 – MASSAGE Magazine, the only independent magazine serving the field of massage therapy and bodywork, today announced its new award for Massage Organization of the Year, to honor each year a group committed to promoting massage therapy and supporting practitioners.
“The Massage Organization of the Year award honors and celebrates organizations whose accomplishments have had a positive impact on the massage therapy and bodywork industry,” said Karen Menehan, editor of MASSAGE magazine. . “The staff at MASSAGE Magazine are pleased to have created this opportunity to recognize one organization per year for their dedication to our industry.”
The inaugural massage organization of the year will be announced on November 1.
Criteria for receiving the award include a demonstrated commitment to advancing massage therapy as a respected component of health care in the United States; number of years of existence; and an internal structure that reflects a sound and competent organization.
The winner will receive:
• If non-profit, a month-long donation campaign promoted by MASSAGE magazine
• A feature article that will be disseminated both in print and online
• A unique digital logo to display on its website
• Social media coverage on the magazine’s social channels
• The possibility of presenting a free webinar
• Reduced rates on professional liability insurance for members and affiliates
• A free e-book to provide to members
• One month of free digital banner ads
