The “WeToo” campaign was launched last year on International Women’s Day with the slogan – Real Women – Real Stories. It was an opportunity for women to give them an independent and unbiased platform to stand up to inspire and uplift other working women who are part of the professional corporate world. We had strong female leaders come forward and share their stories in a panel discussion that had multiple episodes featuring over 50 women on hard-hitting topics related to growing the workforce in India, to the challenges and struggles of women leaders.
Due to the success of the first season of the “WeToo” campaign, which was filled with thought-provoking panel discussions that helped to build and boost women’s confidence by empowering them to overcome any adverse situation. To cherish and preserve these impactful stories and knowledge that have been shared, the “WeToo” community is thrilled to announce the launch of the “WeToo” podcast along with its first e-book on International Women’s Day 2022. As a team, they hope to convert this eBook to hardcover in the future and publish it in multiple regional languages so that the wisdom can reach the masses at large.
Co-authored by 50 female global business leaders, the aim of the e-book is to launch and boost the career of every young girl in India. Be the beacon. In order not to touch the main objective of raising awareness and to avoid any type of bias, the community refrained from seeking financial sponsors. To make this venture a success, we need your help, support, time and encouragement.
Speaking about the e-book, Abha Singh said, “I pay my respects to all brave and courageous women who face difficult situations in life with their heads held high. As I flipped through the book, I felt the positivity as each chapter closed. As someone who has worked for the empowerment of women, fighting for justice without fear, I am thrilled to write this preview. about and to be part of this massive collaborative effort, which has taken the form of this book. a precursor to the previously taboo subject of women’s issues. I am confident that this eBook will benefit the younger generation of women as these topics are not taught in our schools or colleges, it will inspire future generations to believe in their own dreams and move forward in life and careers without guilt. “
Poonam Vijay Thakkar, Founder and Author, said, “I have worked in Indian businesses for over 21 years and witnessed many ups and downs.” I realized that when you’re down, you need mentors more than when you’re flying high. While success stories can motivate and inspire, it’s when you read about failures and adversity that you learn. This book will point you in the right direction. Each chapter contains a variety of perspectives on issues that are important to women and will lead to a meaningful conclusion. The solution is based on the gist of the story. We hope this eBook will serve as a guide for the next generation of young female executives preparing for careers in the corporate world.
